Well hell... This is my first breakfast back on track and it tastes horrible. It’s my fault though. I like smoothies in the morning, so yesterday when I went to the grocery store, I got me some frozen fruits. I usually put in my smoothies frozen fruits, Greek yogurt, a glass of milk and some raw oats. It is healthy and the oats is very high in fiber, so that is a good breakfast. High in calories, but within the range that Spark has given me. But yesterday, the tropical fruits were on sale. Usually, I take berries, which are cheaper, and, from what I read online, are also super healthy. But yesterday, I got the tropical fruits. It is melons, kiwi, and mangos. Advice: do NOT mix tropical fruits with Greek yogurt and milk. It was horrible. I can see it work with coconut water though, but I can’t see how this would make a smoothie. So there we are, my first day ‘on track’ and I had a bad breakfast. The smoothie is still half in my glass, the other half in my stomach. The glass is looking at me right now, on the table, and I really don’t feel like drinking this. I could make another one using frozen raspberries I still have, but I don’t want to have to measure everything again.
Anyway, lesson learn: berries are best.
