Tuesday has been a great day for me. Went to pay bills this morning(no fun); did as much tracking on SP as I could in the afternoon; made my step goal plus (13,160 steps); a great meal with my friends at church tonight. As you can see I have so many things to be thankful for.
I am thankful for:
Energy enough to meet my goals
A great God that helps me through each day
Spark People and the friends I have made and the ones I intend to make

SNUUZYQ2: One of the Challenge teams for the 5% weight loss challenge is the Shooting Stars. We have simulated destinations that we do certain tasks (like exercise minutes, Living the Good Life that involves different tasks, Question of the Day that we answer. We receive badges as we do certain things. It's a lot of fun and the destinations are given just before the simulated takeoff each week. Exercise minutes make up the miles and we try to land early, etc. There are other teams that we compete against to see who can get the most points. It's fun and we learn while we work at our tasks. They each last 8 weeks so we have 8 weeks to try to drop our 10%. Our leaders make the challenge so real that you feel as if you are actually going somewhere.
