A challenge to over come

Monday, July 01, 2019

Well over the last week I've had a very unpleasant change in my SI Joint disfunction. The Joint now sends a SHARP Pain through my pelvis pretty much every time I change directions or stand with it to long. Movement has become excrutiating. I don't know what to do about it. I don't think Physical Therapy is the answer this time. It wasn't the answer the first time. The first time it just landed me in a SI joint belt which I can't even find at this point.

I stopped wearing it as it pinched a nerve in my other hip that sent the feeling of water down my thigh. It was so disconcerting that I just couldn't wear it anymore. Tomarrow I'm going to call the Physical therapist tomarrow and set up an appointment and I'm going to have my Caregiver go look downstairs for the belt. I think because my nerve is pinched at this point that the belt can't hurt now.

Surfice to say I can't hardly move at this point and its frustrating to no end as I know I should be walking. I want to walk. I need to walk.

But I know it's bad when I can't even bend down to put my cats dishes on the floor and have to have the roommate do it for me.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. Back and leg pain is no picnic and it really hurts to do the things that are good for you like the exercising. As bad as yours is now, I would suggest that you try "no exercise" until you see your doctor and get a medical opinion on what you need to do.
