I've had my share of failures, but I'm not going to lose my enthusiasm and I know success is still in my future. I have had things get in the way of my goals in the past, but I am ready to get back on track and make the right things happen. I know what I want in my life and it's up to me to make it happen. There won't be anything standing in my way from this point. I may have to face a lot more failures, but I am always going to keep trying.
I am going to try to post more and getting back to fitness and tracking my food and all of my goals. This will be a short post just to get me back in the habit, but I will try to write longer posts as I get going.
I'm starting with a simple plan for nutrition. Basically just counting calories and watching portions to start out with. I will work more on eating healthier foods as I go along, but to start out with just keep it pretty simple. Also have a goal of eating one fruit or veggie a day. Just starting out very small and making it very easy to follow. Making an effort to drink water and tracking that as well.
Getting back to fitness. Have a good plan for what I want to do. Sunday is rest day so no fitness today but am ready to get back to doing more fitness. Have set down some activity goals that I want to meet each week, as well.
Also getting back to meditation. Haven't meditated in a while and want to get back into the habit.
Going to make another attempt to quit smoking and quit drinking soda. Giving up soda should be easier as I'm drinking more water again. Not smoking will be harder.
Mostly working on my poetry book and my new manuscript. Work is a little slower during the summer.
