Brody bits... school's out for summer

By popular demand... I'm back!!
(ok... maybe just one request - this one's for you LOSEDAPOUNDS)

Just kickin' back here waiting for some of that summer-like weather (that Mom keeps whining about) to appear. Me? I kinda like it on the cooler side - I'm a shade kinda guy unlike my borther, Riley, who seeks out sunny spots when available.

Went to visit some of my kids the other day and things were a tad strange. The place was humming with some kind of weird energy. My kids were kinda loud and fidgety - not much for snuggles this visit. In fact, all the kids I saw were unusually loud and fidgety. Yikes, I kinda got swarmed by a herd of kids coming in from outside - something called PE class. Had to say goodbye to my older boys 'cuz they're going to some place called middle school. Another goodbye and a tight hug from one of my girls who is "moving." Something is up...

It all became clear on the way home when Mom starts "singing"... "school's out for summer..." What ??!!!?? Guess this means everybody gets a reaaaallllly long vacation from school including me. I also guess I'm the only one who is a bit sad about it...

Even though the official "last day of school" is next week, I'm already missing my kids. How many days until "first day of school" again????
