Today marks my 8th day at the Y. I've decided I'm going to skip weekends, but I did go every day this week. It isn't really getting any easier to get myself up and into the car, but the exercising itself is getting easier. I need to find more to do. I have an ankle injury, so I'm limited. The pool seemed the perfect answer, and it has been good, but it is hard to get my heart rate up.

    Great job on keeping up the workouts, especially with an injury. While you are healing, don't worry so much about raising your heart rate. Instead focus on still getting in some form of exercise. Upper body weight training might help boost the heart rate and will not agitate your ankle.
