Day is done....

Friday, June 21, 2019

Well, services were yesterday and things went well. Dad's now resting with Momma which is where he's wanted to be for the past two years. Now we have the task of trying to sort out the remnants of their lives...gonna be an interesting and dusty experience! :-)

Thanks everyone! (I can't believe it's been a week since Dad's been gone!) We will start the task tomorrow. My sister from New Hampshire will be here till July 9th while my sister who's been helping with Dad goes home to take care of some things there. Then she will be back. Our brother is coming and going...he's back this weekend as well...so it will be a family affair and not just a couple of us...that's good! LOL!! There are four levels to get through...oh my! The goal is to be done by the middle of August, if possible. Who knows though! emoticon emoticon

It is not an easy thing to do but you will find some things that hold lots of memories and some laughs too as you remember and go through things.

So sorry for your loss. They are together now so they are happy but it is sad when we lose a parent.

If tears could build a stairway,
    and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven
    and bring you back again.

One thing for sure. No one can take away the memories of your dad.
I thank my God on every remembrance of you. (Philippians 1:8)
Blessings to you in this time of grief.
