New Running Journal!

Tuesday, June 18, 2019

I ordered a July-December May Designs planner as my new running log and I love it!

Besides, has anyone else noticed that July 1st is a Monday?! I love starting on Mondays so this makes my inner OCD girl happy. Lol

I'll be using the planner to track my runs. I was using a Mini Happy Planner but I wanted something smaller (this is woven bound rather than rings). I also like that it's only 6 months. That means i can get a new one more often

In other news, I ran last night! I warmed up with some leg swings, walking lunges, and assisted squats. This was to test out my knee. Then I used the access road next to my house to do 0.05 mile strides. I did about 9 minute mile pace for the strides and rested 1 minute in between. My knee is feeling fine today! I'll do something again tonight. Just trying to keep it low key since i have a race this weekend!

That's all for today. Trying to check in more often like I used to!!

I've always used one, since I was a kid. I have a little bit of an addiction now!

Well, I started my own homemade bullet journal after seeing yours! I draw out the month and write in my workouts and put "bullets" of a half dozen goals (ongoing) and try to write in progress or hitches through out the month, or a date for 'completion'.
I used to print out a 2 month blank calendar on 1 page of paper and write in my workouts at the office.. Love having the visual reminder of all the days I got in a workout!

Glad your knee is feeling good! Have a fun time this evening! Great job on getting it in after work!

I love paper planners! I use bullet journals for my fitness and health things, though!
