I got my score for Cost Accounting today, and I got a C (74%). I am sooo happy! I am just glad it's done and I passed. I wish I had done better, but I also know I tried my hardest. My final score on the final exam was a 50%, so I'm amazed I passed with that score. I have the same professor for managerial accounting in July, so I hope I do better in that class. I'm not sure if it's as math-based, so we will see when I get the textbook.
I started summer school today. I am taking Business Law 1 and Intro. to Management at the community college. I am looking forward to both classes because they sound interesting. I bought the online textbook for Management, but I have to go to the bookstore tomorrow to buy the Business Law textbook and online program access code. My goal is to read the first week's chapters by Thursday evening. No real work is due for just over a week, so I will be able to work without a whole lot of stress while in D.C. I have to read Ch. 1-3 for Business Law and Ch. 1-2 for Management. I enjoy reading so it won't be hard. And since I will have the book with me, I can read on the airplane while I am traveling.
Today, my friend Brianna from church came over for lunch. We went and ran errands first (she doesn't have a car) and then we came back. I made us quesadillas for lunch (a rare, cheesy treat) and then she cut my hair for me. Now I have cute hair for my trip! In the afternoon, after I dropped Brianna off, I wanted to go exercise but I was just so tired. (I didn't sleep good last night. I kept waking up.) So I came home and had a wonderful long nap. I'm still really tired, but I'm glad I did that instead of exercise. I will do a little exercise tomorrow to make up for it. The weather has been really nice, so I will take a walk at the park.
1) Go to the bookstore and buy textbook.
2) Start reading for my classes.
3) Go for a walk or otherwise exercise.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) My friend Brianna.
2) Afternoon naps.
3) That I don't have piles of homework this week-- definitely a manageable load.
