Live & Learn Daily

Monday, June 17, 2019

Earlier this year I set some solid goals, recognized some shortcomings and made a commitment to be more real with myself and actually be more active in what my mouth and mind were telling me I needed to do. I was feeling great and felt like I had a solid plan in place and it was working for me. Home and Work both had drastic challenges at the same time and I soon hit a brick wall. I was down for about 8 weeks between a hospital stay and recuperating.

Each day I am getting back into a healthy routine and quickly getting back up by adding one goal at a time - as it fits into my overall health and progress. So far this is working.

Evaluate & Incorporate - baby steps to success. Never give up, never give in, but accept my limitations and go with them. God made me who I am - and I am human with basic needs that if I overlook them, then I will crash & burn. Live and learn daily.

Sorry I just got here today! Love your attitude! I do not have a lot of time here because I have been busy... hubby diagnosed with bladder cancer last October. Lots of doctors appointments and 3 surgeries to remove tumors but it kept growing back. He had one six week BCG treatment that did nothing for him. He also had wrist and elbow surgery. His next surgery on Aug 21 is to remove his bladder. He will be staying in the hospital after this surgery, minimum 7-10 days.
Also our daughter graduated High School in May. Last October I had to initiate Scholarships application for college... long story short, she will be attending NIU on Aug 26 and moving in day is Aug 23.
Take care & have another blessed day! ^^
