Long days

Friday, June 14, 2019

Now that the days are longer and we are out of the rainy
cycle, it seems there are so many projects to do at once.
We are now focused on the garden and getting as much
planted as possible. We skipped planting lettuce, spinach
and carrots as the soil is to lumpy for a good cover. We
need to buy eggplants yet but have the tomatoes, peppers,
cabbage and broccoli in the ground with just 3 cucumber
and cantaloupe plants. This is our year to cut back and
we will be fine. We just spread everything out a bit. We
do have 5 rows of potatoes, which is more than usual but
were glad a friend had extra seed potatoes on hand because
the greenhouses had sold out.
Off and running for another fun Friday! HUGS!
