Hello all!! The float trip was a success and we had a blast!! We decided to go again in August, so I'm super excited. Any who its that time of the year for me. CLEANSE time!! I usually do a cleanse once every year to give my body a good cleaning out. The cleanse that I do, I pretty much made it up on my own because it fits my lifestyle. Its nothing fancy but it works for me. Basically I cut out alcohol and cut way down on sugar. I'm not a big sugar person foodwise but since I like to drink(which is where 90 percent of my sugar intake comes from) and I also put sugar in my coffee its a challenge for me. Now I limit my coffee to just 1 cup a day with 2 tablespoons of sugar and that's it. I didn't totally cut out sugar because I don't want to be tempted to drink alcohol. Having the 2 tablespoons of sugar helps my body to not crave the sugar therefore I'm not tempted to drink. Like I said before, its a cleanses that works for me. It trains my body to get use to consuming only the 2 tablespoons of sugar instead of the amount I would get from drinking alcohol. So I guess its kinda like a " reset". I shooting for a 2 month cleanse and see how I feel. If everything is all good I leave it as that, but if my body screams to me one more month ill cleanse the month of August as well. Usually when I do this I end up loosing 10 - 15 pounds of weight. I will be fine 10 pounds but 15 pounds I think would be to much, oh well we will see. I am still working out and loving it. I do single workouts on Tuesdays,Thursday's and every other Friday. Dbles Mondays and Wednesday and every other Friday. I knocking out 5 miles in about an hour which was my first goal that I accomplished WOO HOO! So far so good!! Today is day 3 of my cleanse and I'm going strong!! TTYL!!
