The last day of our cruise was still out to sea … getting us back to Galveston, Texas. The captain was going 40 knots … I swear. I did not have any trouble being on the ship until that very last day. WHOA. The g-kids took turns going to their respective age play groups. The adults took turns lazing on deck in the sunshine … and fresh air for me.
We chatted about allllll that we had done and how we would like to do it again. Then we drooled over our “last meal” on the ship. DS#2 said it looked like my pants were bagger than when we started. DIL said … YEAH, but her pants are skin tight now. She had read that most people gain 8-12 pounds on a week long cruise.
Hmmm … my pants were loser. My bathing suit was looser. My rings were spinning on my fingers. Could it be … ???
I noticed after the first day of being overwhelmed with the quantity and variety of food that I had been selective. I only chose the things I really, really wanted to eat. I chose fruits and vegetables at every meal … not on purpose but coz I wanted them. I left food on my plate coz I became full. I was … content.
I did gain weight on our month-long vacation … but not on the cruise. So, what happened???
Change your mind … and the rest WILL follow.
