Life....Update

Wednesday, June 12, 2019

Well surgery went well...I changed doctors though....I lost faith in the other one with some comments he made and his staff were incredibly rude and just plain mean.....and don't get me started on how they overcharged me two thousand dollars. And there's so much more but enough with that rant. I am one week post surgery and feel better than last time. Able to move better, still in pain don't get me wrong but I think I am in a better frame of mind and the shoulder block helped too. I am just getting back to work, I know right!....one week after surgery!....had too, new job and all, but I am following all of the docs directions to a T!

Hubby failed his test, or is it passed his test....for the insurance to cover his surgery they had to prove he needed it....as if everything else wasn't enough. So we are moving forward with his surgery and find out Monday when its happening. I am looking forward to hearing that the Barrett's is gone and don't have to worry about the big C word.

Even happier, I am once again joining the 2019 Summer 5% Challenge, I took some time off since activity of any kind was a laughing matter in my world but I am looking forward to adding it back in...a few steps at a time. This program keeps you motivated and going and their are 40 individuals that know your struggles and stand by you still to help you to the finish line. They hold you accountable....I need accountability on this journey, do you? If so, join, I promise you won't regret it!

Sounds like changing doctors was a good move! It seems some practices forget they are working with PEOPLE. Welcome back to the challenge! emoticon
