40th in 4th Cookery Challenge: Rick Stein's Spain

On evenings when our brains cannot handle anything more we have been re-watching Rick Stein's programmes. Baby still isn't sleeping long stretches.
The Spanish one is very pretty and interesting but between every meal containing either meat or olive oil it's not been particularly inspiring to me to cook from. I have the book still. I have tried to like olives but I really don't like them. I can cope with foods cooked in mild oil now.
I have the Linda McCartney Chorizo vegetarian sausage so decided to try the chickpea dish with Spanish bottled chickpeas I got and the potatoes from patatas bravas with the other dish instead of the additional sauce.
We all really enjoyed. Baby Gherkin wouldn't eat the potatoes! Just the spicy chorizo chickpeas thanks! (also why for her birthday dinner tomorrow we are having curry!)
