Day one - I MADE IT - I think my ravenous hunger has finally subsided. I'm fighting to keep my eyes open. I never have to change my abstinence date again if I don't want to.

You hit bottom when you stop digging and apparently seeing myself today vs. 5 years ago was bottom - God I hope so! - I'm meeting my sponsor on Thursday and I made it through the day without eating any garbage or bingeing. I have not been able to say that in a long time.

I'm doing this small plates thing (I got some really cute dishes from the Asian market) and I am doing a 14 day sugar kick. I did have a piece (ONE PIECE) of the pizza that my husband and stepson made homemade, and I think it was crescent rolls...I don't know if that counts as white bread? I hope not. I am giving myself that one on a technicality because it's not like I grabbed a loaf of Rainbo and started chowing down. This was something my boys made and Chef Jaxon was really proud of himself.

In the name of accountability, I am sharing my meals from today. I'm not tracking with the calorie counter b/c for me that feels like part of my addiction, the obsessing and panic when I can't figure out how many calories are in something. I am going to share my meals and use some common sense. Eat plant foods not processed foods.

Haha. Seriously though, tomorrow's challenge:
