My youngest grandchild is such a doll.
She is so beautiful that people stop and stare or smile and some even say how pretty she is (awkward).
But more importantly, she has a very engaging personality.
Pearl remembers everyone’s names after meeting them just once (just like her mom, who was a hugely popular bartender in our town before settling down to teach and raise three wee ones).
She is wicked smart and very creative and funny.
She loves books, and movies, and doing crafts with Grammy.
She went to a rocky beach yesterday with Papa and she and I are making a seashore diorama in a shoebox, a multi-day project.
This is her second year of ballet and tap dancing and loves that, too.
Yesterday was the dress rehearsal so I got pix of her in her beautiful costumes and had to put full make-up on her for the class pictures.
Then, I got a quick pic of her class getting instructions for the day...isn’t this sweet?
Pearl is, of course, snuggled up to her teacher.
My DIL said this pic reminds her of this:
Yup, I am channeling Degas now!
