Goals & Gratitude 6/6/19

I slept really bad last night, and I mean really bad. I didn't fall asleep until about 5 AM. I was so tired, but my body was just resisting. I listened to books for several hours to help me sleep, and that did finally help. I slept on and off until about noon. I am tired now (it's just after 10 PM), but I don't think I'll sleep yet, so I'll stay up a while longer.
Some positive things from today now. I wrote 5 pages on my final paper for Financial Statement Analysis. It took me quite a while to write about the history of Barnes & Noble as they have been around since the 1886. So I only got through the first section of the paper, and there are 6 parts total. I hope to get through parts 2, 3, and 4 tomorrow. I've already written part 3, actually. It's the section with all the ratios we had to compute throughout the quarter for the company. I just have to copy and paste it into my final paper, and add tables with the ratio calculations. So it's really just parts 2 and 4 I have to work on tomorrow. I had wanted to start the homework for Cost Accounting, but I ran out of time before my afternoon appointment. Tomorrow for that too.
I did get a good walk in today. I walked for 54 minutes at the part, about 2.5 miles. Then I blew it all by getting Chinese food for dinner. If I had only eaten half the dinner, I would have stayed within my calorie count, but I didn't and then calculated my calories. Well, tomorrow I have a healthy dinner planned, and I already have breakfast and lunch ready. I'm planning on going for another walk at the park tomorrow evening when it's a little cooler. Here's to healthier decisions tomorrow!
1) Go for a walk.
2) Do the laundry.
3) Do the first 3-4 problems for Cost Accounting.
4) Write parts 2, 3, and 4 for my final project.
Today I'm Grateful For...
1) That the weather was so nice for walking this evening.
2) That I did get so much written today.
3) That I got a pile of fresh lemons from a friend today.
4) That I saw an old friend briefly this afternoon.
