Goals & Gratitude 6/5/19

I'm working this week on getting back into healthy eating and exercising. I've gained back 7 lbs. that I lost through the Biggest Loser spring challenge. My goal is to get rid of that weight plus a little more. I'm sad that I gained so much, but I'm determined to get rid of it. So I went to the gym today as it was a little too hot to walk at the park. I did 55 minutes on the stationary bike and loved it. I've never done that before. I sat and pedaled and read and it was so nice. I'm planning on going to either the park or the gym tomorrow evening depending on the temperature.

The food thing has been harder. I am hitting either the very high end of my calorie range with only a few calories to spare or going over recently. I'd like to eat about 100-200 calories less per day so that I know that I am not going over my calorie range. I like to have a little wiggle room. That's going to be more difficult to do as I get so hungry in the evening. I am working on not eating at night, but that also depends on how well I sleep. If I don't sleep good I tend to eat a lot more. For a healthy dinner tonight, I'm making Roasted Red Pepper and Corn Soup. I've made it before and it's quite good. It's from the Forks Over Knives website.

I got through lots of homework today, though there is more I wanted to do. I did the flashcards for Cost Accounting, the readings for Financial Statement Analysis, and took my Business Ethics final exam. I am happy to report that I got a 100% on the final and a 98% on the research paper so I have a final grade of 97.8% in Business Ethics! That's one more class done! All I have to do to finish Financial Statement Analysis is finish the written project and do the last discussion board, and I am done as of Sunday. That leaves one class to finish next week.

Okay, off to make dinner!

Tomorrow's Goals:
1) Do 3 questions on the Cost Accounting homework.
2) Work on the written project and discussion board for Financial Statement Analysis.
3) Exercise!

Today I'm Grateful For...
1) That I got to the gym today.
2) That the weather is so nice outside right now.
3) That my hairdresser friend who I blogged about yesterday had a really positive interview with a different salon today and is hoping for a second interview next week.
