Are YOU Ready?

Are YOU ready to push YOUR commitment button? Spark commitment as in dedication, adherence and attentiveness to an activity such as tracking food intake, fitness minutes, supporting fellow Spark members and participating in team efforts. Too often one, some or all of these commitments are neglected which leads to feelings of self loathing or giving up.

Earlier in the spring I was invited to join the Spring 5% Challenge as a member of the Weight Warriors team. I questioned that request as I was at goal and maintaining but then I realized that not only would it force me to commit to reaching goals for each of eight weeks but it would also introduce me to other committed Sparkers. I applied that 5% to goals other than weight loss and succeeded in achieving them. What a feeling! I have returned to weight lifting, I have increased my daily fitness minutes, I have cleaned up my eating habits, I am getting my daily water needs, sleeping better and walking farther (yesterday 10+ miles).

And so I throw the challenge out to others who may read this: sign up today!
