Its been a long time

Thursday, May 30, 2019

Its been a long time since I was on here and alot has happened! I had back surgery,my Mother in law, cousin by marriage and a good friend have passed away! I became a Grandmother and Great Grandmother again. In November Our Number 8 Great Grandchild will be born she had a twin but she passed away :( The surgery left me with no feeling in my lower legs and finally 18 months and a heck of alot of physical therapy later I fell off a stool and got some feeling returned! God has a sense of humor!! I am getting help with my weight loss by a trainer and nutritionist and Ive dropped 30 pounds so far.My hubby took me on a trip to Florida for my 59th Birthday and visited my #2 daughter and son in law and 3 Grands. We attended our Grandsons graduation, played on the Beach, ate too much, exercised at the Hotel work out room and took tours. The Family held me a Surprise Birthday Party, presented me with a Photo album full of our crazy laughing faces antics and fun. I've truly missed SparkPeople because everyone is telling the same story about being on this diet and that diet to look and feel better,We support, laugh and cry with each other.Everyone out there reading this,YOU ARE WORTH IT,DONT GIVE UP,LOVE YOURSELF!!! emoticon SUSAN

Susan, OH MY! Both sad and happy news. Glad you are back. I have been contemplating back surgery... now I may not. Were you walking with no feeling?

Yes, we are all off and on dieting, trying this and that. I am now vegan for health reasons. Mainly my emphasis is health, because whether I lose weight or not, I want to feel good in my remaining years.

    Hugs to you too.
