Five Simple Steps

As of today, my scales show a weightloss of 11 lbs.
It might not sound huge.
It might even make someone smile, given the fact that so many of you have worked for months and even years to lose ten times that.
But to me, it's a celebration.
I am just two lbs away from reaching the first leg of my goal, to get out of the 180s. Seems I've been stuck there forever.
I have no secrets. I've taken it slow and easy (sometimes too slow and too easy, perhaps) but slow 'n steady wins the race, right? I'm finding it easier to do the following now, and I believe that's what is making a steady difference:
1. Keep those portions small!
2. Don't eat after 6 p.m.
3. Watch out for salt!
4. Don't just sit there - move!
5. View my weightloss effort as a joy instead of drudgery.
That's it. No big secrets, just practical advice that is helping.
Day by day by day. That's the only way to do this thing.
