Daughter's Move

Wednesday, May 29, 2019

My daughter and granddaughter are moving into their house. They started last Friday. I suggested cleaning the house before moving the furniture in, but, as usual, she didn't listen.

I've been the one who has to do the most to help: pack up things in the apartment, help move them, help clean the house and put things away. Somehow, in the process, I've got a kink in my neck that doesn't seem to want to leave, despite the soaking in Epson Salts and the tens unit.

I love the girls dearly, but often feel that Sherry expects me to be there and pitch in. She was upset because I had to take a little time to try to get rid of the kink. When I approach her about needing "me" time, she gets defensive. I am to the point where I think we may need a mediator.
