While reading a SP article this morning, a few things stuck in my mind.
The article said:
1. don't waste time crossing off insignificant things on your to-do list. Sometimes by crossing off little tasks, I feel as if I accomplished a bit.
2. when at work, don't look at personal emails or make personal calls. I've always done this during my lunch. It saves me time in the evening.
3. tackle the hardest task first. Sometimes, I'm just not ready to do that. I feel as if I need to work up to it. Sometimes, if I do it first, I want to take a break. Not always good.

I know there is a fine line to balancing life. I feel that I need to make it work for me - make it easier on myself.

As a Mom, I try to suggest possible short cuts to my girls. But they remind me of myself - they will go round and round about things, try it the way they think they should, and then, MAYBE try my suggestion. Doesn't age and experiences count for something?
