Chall 10 & 11

Almost Summer Challenge Day 10 was about investing in yourself. Investing time, money, effort in yourself is super important. Day 11 is about tracking your steps and getting off your duff.
I am having to stay off my duff for a while.
I swear every SINGLE time I get to feeling better and working out my body gets an attitude with me. My legs having been swelling for a couple of weeks now. I have kidney disease and I am worried about that. I looked at my caffeine intake and sodium intake and have cut way back. It's making a big difference. The swelling is cutting down tremendously.
But, I was most surprised about one thing.
I happen to look at the ingredient of my body lotion I was using. I looked because I have seen some eye creams that have caffeine in them are used to depuff bags under your eyes. So I thought this lotion I started using had an odd texture and was for firming your cellulite. Being shorts weather, I was concerned about my huge thighs and thought I would try this lotion.
One of the ingredients was caffeine! I was right to suspect it. I know some of the swelling was coming from that lotion because the very day I threw it away, my legs looked so much better. It was in big print on the back. I am an idiot for not seeing that sooner!
Hopefully with a few more days of sodium and caffeine reductions and keeping my feet up will do the trick. If not, I will go see my specialist.
So now I really have to diet since I can't exercise. Yesterday I did good. I ate way too many raspberries. I ate a ton because they were ripe and going to ruin. I bought them for our bearded dragon, but he got stubborn and decided not to eat them.
By the way, he finally pooped HUGE two times. Safe to say he is not impacted! Good god, I was shocked. He really was full of IT.
I am thrilled to be off dragon dookie duty! lol
