Joined Planet Fitness Saturday. Today was my first day back in the gym after many months. I decided to start with the stationary bike (arthritic knees) and then used the treadmill on incline (levels 3-9) I can tell my muscles have weakened but I am looking forward to the process of creating a consistent workout habit and strengthening my body once again. I have already made my step goal for the day but will be taking a walk later this afternoon and doing some stretches to prevent muscle cramps (problematic for me) I feel like change is in the air as long as I remember why i am doing this!

    Love your blog, we do need to give ourselves time to develop a healthy lifestyle, we certainly didn't wake up one day out of shape sitting on the couch covered in Cheetos dust. emoticon

    I just went back to Planet Fitness this morning after not being there for over a year! I just did the treadmill as I have issues with my knees and heels - but next time hope to add the bike - and soon after some of the machines! It's empowering and terrifying at the same time to me emoticon

    Hope we both find our way to consistent exercise!
