Positive Approach

The way I eat and exercise has changed for the better. But even with good intentions there are days and or times when I overindulge by either eating too much ( like yesterday)or deciding not to exercise.
But, I am not going to beat myself up or berate myself for falling off the wagon. Instead I remind myself that over the past few years I have been successful in losing weight and exercising regularly. I have made strides in losing my weight and not gaining 5-6 lbs back. In a few months or maybe a year my weight loss plan will be considered a short term project, and I will start working on maintaining my optimal weight for the long term. My living a better and healthy lifestyle is my investment in myself.
I am proud of myself for has not been an easy feat and I congratulate myself on what I have accomplished. It has not been easy and I admit at times I just wanted to throw up my hands and give up, and I am glad I had sparks friends, my husband and family that gave me encouragement in something they would say or do (and most likely not aware how much it meant to me)..... Keeping a positive approach I will succeed, because I am worth it.
