When I started tracking my food again, I made a list of small accomplishments to celebrate. Back in 2008, Weight Watchers recommended setting your first goal at 10%. They claimed there were a lot of health benefits to losing 10% - and if you have more to go, it helps to break it up in small increments. I don't know if they still do this, but with that in mind, here's my list of things to celebrate up to that goal 10% goal.
Any loss - the first time the scale says a number lower than the week before - NO MATTER HOW LARGE OR SMALL
5 Pounds lost
Within healthy BMI range (which for me, means losing 10.8 pounds)
10% lost (17 pounds)
Today, I think I will celebrate 5 pounds lost by getting some new workout clothes. Trying to get myself motivated!
