Struggling

Friday, May 17, 2019

Been struggling some. Haven't put any weight on, but not getting that last 15 off either. My son who is in his early forties is very sick. He has severe psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis. He has had 2 hip replacements and needs both knees done. His hands are crippled. It is hard to see when you can't do much. We all live with my daughter and are doing the best we can. It is hard because he has no insurance. He is trying to get disability, but it takes a long time. Doctors have said he will never be able to work because he can't walk and his hands are becoming useless. He is also in a lot of pain. We pay for his medical care right now, but it is so difficult. I am on social security and do not have much money and my daughter works, but has a family. We struggle, but do what we have to do. It is so scary thinking about what happens when he can't even get out of bed. Now it is a struggle. I am in my 70's and my daughter has to work and has a small child. Some days it is hard to stay positive at all. Praying the disability comes through.

Praying for all of you! It's so unfair that one has to go through so much difficulty to get the help that they need! I hope that the disability comes through. It's hard but you are doing great! Don't worry about that 15 pounds - just worry about staying healthy so that you can help out as much as you are able! Hugs!

Prayers for your son, daughter and you. Hugs, too. Your son is going through so much as well as all of you. I hope and pray disability will be approved to ease the burden. I also pray for emotional and physical strength for your son.

I will be sending prayers that his disability gets approved soon. He deserves to get the help he needs. Good luck.
