Three Month Progress Report (restart)

I’ve completed three month since re-starting my diet and fitness program and joining WeightWatchers. I’ve lost 24 pounds, so I am very pleased with my results so far. I am not finding the program difficult.

I am happy that my stomach looks smaller, and that my face is less puffy. I bought new hiking pants in a smaller size because my old pants were falling off. I am able to hike longer and do more fitness activities. I still have a ways to go, but as long as I am making progress I am enjoying the journey.

Yesterday I hiked a different section of the Deschutes river trail with my friend Barbara. Here are a few photos from our hike.

The serviceberry was blooming.

And sand lilies.

I was thrilled to discover wild peonies. Unlike cultivated peonies, the wildflowers are tiny.
