Cooking Challenge #8 Peri Peri-Style Chicken and Sesame glazed green beans

Last night's dinner turned out to be very quick, easy and delicious. The photo is of the serving platter and as in most Japanese dishes the portions were small, but we were all satisfied.

I did need to debone the chicken thighs, but that's pretty easy and I just cooked the bones up with a bit of water to make a doggy broth. While the chicken was marinating for 15 minutes I did the prep for the green beans (minced garlic & ginger, mixing maple syrup and soy sauce). The chicken baked in the oven for 30 minutes which allowed me to complete the veggies. I didn't dry the first cooking enough so the glaze was a bit thin, BUT the family requested that these two dishes show up on the menu again! Both were winners and I'll be making them again!
