I've been up since 4am because I have a 5:15am Muscle Pump class. It's way too early! As much as I'd like to sleep in, though, I know this is better. I have been running consistently since I started None to Run but my weights workouts have been lacking lately. It has been an exciting last 2 weeks with lots of things to celebrate, one after the other.
I took John to Tea on the Terrace at the Frank Lloyd Wright house for our 2 year anniversary. I ate way too much food, and a lot of it was snacky type food like lemon squares and mini brownies, etc. but it was a really fun time and John loved it.
The day after our 2 year wedding anniversary I celebrated my 5 year sobriety birthday. FIVE YEARS. It doesn't even feel real sometimes. It is, though. Facebook reminds me of that.
I finished None to Run Week 3 and Girls on the Run and didn't die, haha. It was hard and I didn't know if I was going to make it but of course I did and I felt great afterwards...other than the shin splints and I had dinner with a friend and I stuffed myself on Chinese food. But...I won a BATMAN hat out of the claw machine on only 2 tries, so I was pretty psyched even though I felt junky physically. Nananananana BATMAN.
