Lunch salad today...

Experimenting with new recipes, new flavors, tastes again.Trying for variety and for substitutes for favorite meals once done with meat or poultry. I made this salad for dinner last night using Red Lentil Pasta, which has 21 gm protein per serving. Also white beans, green beans, roast pepper, olives, and artichoke hearts. The recipe was "Salad Nicoise Vegan" in a cookbook I have, Robin Robertson's "One Dish Vegan Meals".
I was adding protein snacks to my diet, but I have gained a couple of pounds. I was feeling very fatigued, and thought I was lacking in protein. The Clif bars I bought at BJs have 22 gm of sugar per bar. 20 gm of protein, too, but...they're candy bars with protein. I brought them into work and gave them away. I'm still having my protein and greens snack shake, and raw vegetables. I am feeling a lot less tired after I added some nutritional supplements, especially the vegan algae-based DHA capsules and zinc.
I've slipped a little with tracking, and want to get back to tracking everything. I have to keep finding ways to remotivate myself (like a lot of us here). I've kind of stalled out again. I want to get back on track:
Set NEW goals. Goals for eating, exercising, and drinking water. Read one Spark Article every day. Walk for 20 minutes a day.
