Pollen! Ugh!

Saturday, April 27, 2019

I was up early with Maegann as she got ready for school and then I fell asleep on the sofa as no alarm was needed and the boys didn't start moving until almost 9. I felt very rested for a change.

After breakfast I got busy with a few cleaning projects. Straightening the kitchen, dusting and straightening the living room and sweeping the floors. Then I headed to check work email and had one client call at 10:30 on another plan draft that is underway. I then debated about just reading, cross-stitching..... but the budget won out as the first of the month bills are due and we're trying to get as much of the automatic payments directed out of the checking account instead of the credit card. I started there and then made a spreadsheet of the monthly bills. Tomorrow I will get some of the other costs averaged such as groceries, medical... I am determined to get Tim's medical bill and our van loan (to my SIL) paid off. I did pay another smaller debt off today and that felt like a celebration as we've been feeling like we'd never dig out. The good news is Tim is already going on full time with the new job starting in June. That alone tells me we will be able to pay things off and/or down quicker. I'm determined!!

While I worked I again battled a minor sinus headache so I checked the pollen forecast and found this:

No wonder I'm noticing sinus issues!

Maegann made it home from school about 6pm so we all got have dinner together as a family for the first time in too long. Today was theory, job shadowing and then the class was left to practice and got permission to use each other instead of their doll heads and the teacher was okay with it. Maegann agreed to be a "model" and below is her before and after.

She has never had any coloring or perms her whole life until today. She now has highlights and was happy as she's wanted to see how it would look on her for quite some time. Can't beat free! The girls even did her makeup.

After supper Isaac was playing basketball on the PS4 so I sat down to do some Sparking, but first I wanted to check out the final results of the NFL draft.

I especially enjoyed following the Raiders' picks this year.

Tomorrow Maegann works in the morning and we will work on her scholarships in the afternoon. Deadline is Wednesday for this bunch. The rest of us will head to church and then I am picking up groceries about 10 to get us started for the week. Isaac and Tim have projects to work on in the afternoon too. Tim is cleaning the addition in preparation for painting and Isaac will be stacking firewood so it is out of the way until we need it again.

    Janet,

It looks like they cut Maegann's hair too. Did they or is it just the way that it is styled? I love the highlights in her hair they are absolutely beautiful!!!!! Is she still doing well in the class?

emoticon on getting that bill paid off and also emoticon and emoticon that Tim starts full-time next month because you're so correct, you will get your debts paid off much quicker!!! I have been working on mine for so long and I had to turn my credit cards over to Greenpath which is a Christian organization that brokered lower interest rates on my cards because even though I was not using them, the interest rates when up because of me not using the cards just so they could hold me in bondage. One card when up to 24% in less than a year and it was 11.3% to start with. I did get all of them which were only three cards to admit that I was being penalized because I was not using the cards. That 24% is now 6%. Greenpath has been a fantastic help to me. My total debt about six-months ago was way over $100,000 and that included my mortgage. Now I am I am below the $100,000 and I am ecstatic!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!!

I don't watch the draft of the football players but I do watch me some football and I am ready for football 24/7!!!!

    Blessings!
