Today was interesting
I had to go to the Dept of Motor Vehicles for car inspection.
There were virtually 10 cars on line. That's unheard of in my area.
The count is usually 3 rows of 20 cars, especially at the end of the month.
Where is everybody?
The inspector was smiling and friendly.
And strangest of all…I passed…my car is 19 years old.
Then I went to pick up a package at Kohl’s and customer service was smiling and friendly.
They took me immediately and offered to help me with the package.
I was getting suspicious.
I checked my clothes and I looked in the mirror to see if I looked okay.
Then I stopped to pick up a bottle of Nellie & Joes Key West Lime Juice, which I could not find.
I make refreshing drink from green tea, tart cherry juice, and key lime juice.
Once again a smiling friendly store employee, stops what he’s doing,
and walks me 7 aisles down to help me search.
I’m thinking ….what’s going on here?
I get home and check my email and I got a message from MICROSOFT

Am I in a new episode of the TWILIGHT ZONE?
Today I made Shrimp with Penne Regata
2 cups broccoli, ½ red bell peppers, ½ cup portobello mushrooms, and ¼ cup sun dried tomatoes. I made ½ cup of pasta al dente, and separately sautéed the veggies in chicken broth with dill, onion powder, garlic, and a pat of butter for 5 minutes.
Finally I added the shrimp and the pasta at the end for a quick 3 minute saute.
And the finishing touch...some parmesan cheese. Yum
