Ugh, I save so much cleaning to do. We've been in survival mode for months. Life is difficult with our 4 year old. He needs pretty much constant supervision and direct interaction. So there isn't much time to get things done. Add to that my dental stuff and other meetings and such things, and dang my house is a huge mess. We are also working on getting our water damage dealt with. So, I'm trying to make a list of tasks broken into smaller pieces. It makes for a longer list, but it also makes items easier to cross offf. It's all about crossing things off lists.

The light at the end of the tunnel is that he starts full time day care on May 13. No more changing weird schedule, no more bus being 20 min late, no more inconsistent schedules. And then I will have a few days a week to accomplish goals. I'm going to try to tackle painting, and also a few other other home projects that aren't just cleaning.

I hear you. I don’t have an active child to work around and I still struggle with the cleaning.
I thought of you on Easter—one of my many guests was a 5 year old boy the same as your son. Add chocolate to the equation, plus an exciting Easter egg hunt, plus no meds..
Yowza! You have my utmost respect!!
