maintaining

So I've been gone awhile. I just lost motivation because I am basically yo-yo ing. Maintaining the same 5 pounds. At this point, I'm not sure I'll make my dietbet goal in June but I have to at least try. If I didn't at least try, I'd be gaining a lot of weight for sure.

The baby is doing well. She's growing like a weed and I'm still making milk for her. To be honest, it has made my appetite insatiable. I've never been this hungry before, even at my highest weight last time I started SparkPeople!

I dieted for the last 2 weeks and lost 3 lbs!..........
.......only to find my milk almost gone!

So, yea. Very frustrated and feeling down lately. I feel like blogging is pointless as I never have great news to share. But, I don't want to go the wrong way and start gaining weight so I'm here trying to at least maintain if not lose a bit of weight whenever possible.

    Back in my day, they recommended drinking beer for nursing. Beer is liquid bread, really.

    There should be a way for you to do what you need to do for you, while also producing enough milk for her. I hope you figure it out :)
