Hello Again...

I don't know why, but I am feeling the urge to blog today. 2015 was my last blog entry and so much has changed since then! Currently, a mom of 3 kiddos still working full time and still happily married to my full time working husband. Our biggest struggling is finding child care for our kids! Life is busy and our lifestyle makes it difficult to make time for myself. Most nights, my husband does not get home until after 7p. By that time, here in northern Michigan, it is dark or starting to get dark most days of the year. Thankfully we are headed into spring and the days are getting longer.

I am signed up to run a half Marathon in June once again. I initially had goals of a sub 2:00:00 time, but alas, I am unsure if I can really put in the training time needed to make this happen. I am on my 3rd week of not running at all - not once. I was due to run 6 miles on Saturday, but did not have the time. I know I need to make the time.

Nutrition has been off. I need to get back to the true me, but it's all tough! Being healthy is difficult in our society and weight loss is a struggle! Every day is hit or miss with me. One day I am excited with renewed energy and drive for better health. The next day I am barely making it and just trying to get through the day! Motivational peeps - give me your words of wisdom! :D

    Remember your reason of WHY. Why did you decide to get healthier? Then hang onto it. It is the biggest part of our motivation. Remind yourself daily of your reason why. Write it down, read it over & over. You can accomplish your goals! emoticon emoticon emoticon
