Have you ever had a day where you feel frazzled all day---where you seem to be running, and never catching up?---
That was me yesterday.
To-day I feel like the above picture.
Son#3 and son#4 , with their children, dropped in to say "Happy Easter"----and stayed for lunch--Of course himself and I gave them Easter chocolate, and lotza hugs---
I heard son#3 saying he had disconnected his house phones, now only using their cell phones, and did I want all of his house phones--
In all the chaos, I do remember telling him, that yes, I would take them, as the one in the living room was not working right-
After they all had gone home, Himself said, "Why is there no list of numbers on the kitchen phone? I need to call son#1 on his cell."
Of course I never believe Himself quite a bit of the time!
"Yu probably pressed the wrong button," I told him,. as I grabbed one of our 11 house phones.
No names were stored in any of our house phones.
Son #3, meaning well, had changed ALL our phones, and installed his phones---
AND--- he had taken out all the batteries---
There we were with about 4 bases--about 20 telephones, all looking exactly the same---trying to sort out our own which had all our own list of family and friends---and matching each to a base--
It took forever-----
Kids mean well---
Kids handle technology wayeeee better than Himself and I---It really was no big deal to them---They don't realize that justa plain telephone to their Father, coming from Jamaica , where when he was growing up, was a challenge--and too much "change" to both of us, at this stage of the game, is not so easy!
Lord love a Duck!----When the younger generation enter one's house, one never knows what changes are dropped into our lap!
I suppose they are forcing us to go with the Eagles---yu think?
