A Year Later

On April 17, 2018, my daughter's house was run into by a car. No one was hurt, but the rebuilding took many months longer than it was anticipated. Problems with communication with insurance company and contractor meant the house wasn't ready to move back in until end of February. Then the cleaning company found mold in some of the walls, the bathroom flooded and a pipe leaked into the kitchen ceiling. As my daughter was going through all of that, she discovered she no longer felt comfortable in the house and the front yard. They are selling the house and still live with her mother-in-law.
My son and his fiancee are moving to this side of Atlanta! He has a teaching job for next year and she is waiting on something to open up. The family is thrilled! They are house hunting now.
My other daughter has had a promotion at Ga. Tech. She is the Chair of the Curriculum Committee of the Neuroscience Undergraduate Program,
I now have four grandchildren- oldest granddaughter is now 9! Grandson is 7. I have 2 granddaughters who are both 5-one is my eldest daughter's, and one is my soon to be daughter in law's. Their birthdays are 6 weeks apart which keeps us quite busy!
