Making decsions

Tuesday, April 16, 2019

This last year, I have learned a lot. I have worked on ME. I learned that when you wake up, the first 20 minutes will set the pace for the kind of day you will have. The first thing is to decide to have a great day! The next is to write at least 3 things you are grateful for. Then I plan my day. I have a planner that allows hourly planning

I also choose not to get upset. to be courteous, and to be the best I can be to me and everybody that I will have interaction with, today. I don't live in the past anymore. I'm given this day and it is my duty to make it a great one.

Thank you Marilyn for walking this journey with me on "Over 50 - setting goals and how t achieve them." It's helping me more than anything as it is about being healthy which is serious for me.

I have a picture of my great-grand-son and love to see his smile first thing in the morning too Scrambl. Makes me smile. Thank you for sharing, I'm not alone on this journey...

I agree that the first 20 - 30 minutes can direct your day to either a day of rejoicing and being successful or a day not meeting any of the goals you set out to work on. I am with you and look forward to walking this journey with you

Yes, a goid spiritual start in the first few minutes of the day is key. My counselor suggested I put objects near my bed that give me pleasure, so fresh flowers and picture of my dog are 1st things I see. That helped to not jump into the to-do list.
