Upgrading My Fitness Plans!

Last week, I joined a fitness center. A "luxury athletic resort," they say, and they may be right. Today, I met with a personal trainer and Monday I go back to hear the "plan." Because we're talking strategy, accountability, and goals. Nutrition and metabolic support, not dieting. No trendy protein supplements - already gave him the "no upsell" lecture and he just laughed. That was never part of the plan, thank goodness! Exercises to support metabolism, strength, and balance - all things that have suffered, over the last 8 years, due to various health annoyances (like cancer, a broken foot, a broken ankle, replaced and fused discs in my neck, and being a workaholic couch potato - that last being the worst of all). I know the basics, thanks to SparkPeople. I need specific strategies and a tactical plan.

Also, the Fitbit Aria died. I've ordered its replacement - a $49 version that supposedly syncs with Fitbit. Should arrive tomorrow.

And the corporate wellness challenge starts...Monday. Coincidentally (or not) that's my next appointment with the trainer.

Gonna crush this thing.
