I’m slowly feeling better. I’m antsy since the weather is nicer. I have been getting outside and enjoying the weather and talking short walks. Due to asthma and allergies I can’t go outside when anyone’s mowing or the farmers are in the field. My walks are short because of the darn fluid pills. At least I got outside.
Today we had 20 to 40mph winds with gusts up to 50mph. I went out when it was not as crazy although some of the gusts nearly knocked me over.
I walked down the street beside me to visit the horse. I check on him periodically because he’s blind in one eye and my neighbor doesn’t live there anymore but comes over to make he’s properly fed and watered.
I walked down the street but that old barn rattling and clanking in the wind worse me. I’m afraid some of the lose tin roofing will come flying off. I walked around my yard too. I did this several times before it got dark.
I felt good. I recently bought some jewelry and was playing around with it. Hence the new photo. It’s posted on my Facebook as well as here. No makeup no filters just me.
I’m having skin issues and have been since 2016. My arms and legs are crepey and very dry. Plus my skin on my arms bruises so easy and tears easily. I got old people skin. I’ve tried every lotion out there. Plus different body washes too. Nothing really helps. I’ve been trying things for the past few years that I’ve read about with no success. So I’ve been reading about collagen supplements. I ordered some capsules and they got here today. You’re supposed to take one four times a day with a full glass of water. I know the extra water helps but it will be interesting to see if the collagen does anything. I’ve been reading up on it the past year. Tried some creams but never saw a difference.
Still working on my diet. I need to get to the store and get some fresh vegetables and fruits. I can’t eat salads, those with salad greens. My last salad caused me a week of severe pain. IBS sucks. So I’m avoiding salad greens. It makes me sad because I love salads. Broccoli is a no go. So is cabbage.
I hope everyone is safe and warm from this bomb cyclone we’re having. Take care. Hugs

The new photo is great! Walking, no matter where or how far, helps the body and the mind.

LOVE your picture! And good for you pushing forward. It's not easy when you don't feel up to speed.

Do you take fish oil? I read somewhere that can cause bleeding. Also need for vitamin C.
Let me know how the collagen works. I don't have bruising, but I have wrinkles and now the skin on my arms is getting crepey !! Lotion helps but doesn't seem to last that long.

Your picture is very nice, I like it. I like the color of your top and the necklace looks great.
I also have a bowel disease and they sure are the pits, so I get a colonoscopy mid May, ya, I am so excited, NOT.
Hope the weather starts settling down, and spring will finally be sprung for good, and turns warm and sunny for all of the country.
Ramona I so admire you for continuing to move forward as much as you can with your exercise, even when you have rough days. Of course there are limits once in awhile, but on the whole you do push yourself to continue---Way to go, proud of what you accomplish.

I feel for you. My late DH suffered from IBS and he couldn't eat salads either. Funny thing is when we married he hated salads but over the course of time he got where he loved a good salad and then it was denied to him. He was hospitalized 5 times before the PA figured out it was likely salad causing the worst of his problems!! We had omitted gluten for 18 mo, tried eliminating lactose and voila, salad!!

I admire you for continuing to keep pushing forward.

I'm glad you were able to get outside for a bit emoticon Watch out for that wind!! The wind wasn't as powerful here, but I had trouble walking in it.
