What's on my Plate?

Yeah - Just what should I be accomplishing today? An interesting question.
At the first layer, there's making sure things go well in the family. That's a general requirement that breaks down into multiple tasks. For today, I will likely complete federal taxes in the software I use. Electronic filing likely tomorrow. All that is subordinate to being with my wife for her elective (and expected to be easily tolerated and helpful) surgery. She's a little worried, but being brave. I expect things will go just fine.
Another big thing on the plate, though, is health maintenance. Somehow I've become weak around the hips. And my wife is feeling some pain in her legs and shoulders. Although neither of use has ever been a couch potato, I now feel that simply moving about is annoying. Sitting is more comfortable. This leads to me ignoring or rejecting opportunities for activity. Early morning stretching may be helping. After a week or so I'll know if I'm benefiting. We keep active. purposely.
So the plate seems pretty full, but nothing extraordinary. Just the work of dealing with modern life and nurturing health.
