Spring 5% Weigh In and Goals

I like what I recently heard regarding saving for retirement: remove the friction. Basically, make it easier to win. Like by having funds automatically taken from your paycheck so you don't have to "remember" to do. That's my goal this challenge: make it easier to win. How? Simplifying.

Goal 1: Track every thing I eat (as soon as I do, or better yet before)
Goal 2: Ride at least 10 miles every day (morning rides so it's one less thing later on)
Goal 3: Strength train at least twice per week.

Like I said simple.

    I use an app called Qapital. It rounds up every purchase I make with my debit card and puts the change into a savings account. You can set it up to work with credit cards, too.

    Then I set it up with some rules through IFTTT. Every time it rains in my town, it puts $5 into savings. Every time it goes above 115 degrees it puts $5 in savings. (I'm in Phoenix, so this does happen more frequently than the rain thing.) Every pay day it puts $15 in savings. Every time Trump tweets, it puts $1 into savings. Every time I work out for at least 30 minutes, it puts $5 in savings.

    I also do the 52 week savings plan. $1 the first week, $2 the second week, etc.

    Completely adjustable for what you think your checkbook can handle. I have to be honest, some weeks I have to take a close look at how my checking account balance is doing because of how much Trump is tweeting LOL
