Lose Weight your way - the way that works best for you

It is that time again. Another 12 week BLC challenge is starting.

There are many teams in the BLC and they have different choices.

Resolute Renegades is a team that focuses on accountability.
We have 3 team goals - Do some exercise, Eat according to your food plan, and do some Strength Training (so you lose more fat and less muscles). In our tracker, you can track all kinds of information that help you lose weight (steps, miles, sleep, no sugar, drink water, - we are all different and different things are critical for different people.

For most people, losing weight is hard - it is not as easy as eating less and exercising more.
Sometimes there is some other item(s) that are critical for them (e.g. getting enough sleep, drinking water, etc. - we are all different and these items can vary person to person).
Sometimes the struggle is changing their lifestyle so they can regularly do the tasks that help them lose weight.
Some people know what helps them lose weight and they just have to work at getting those tasks done.
Others are still figuring out what helps them consistently lose weight.

Renegades uses a web page, accessible on tablets and phones, so you can track your progress and even check how you are doing on a daily basis. Or you can just report your numbers every Wed - for accountability.

Articles include information on how to make weight loss work better - based on research studies.

We do not do a lot of social chatting, members are expected to spend more time exercising then they do online with the group (a couple short checkins a week are enough).

PS, if you don't want to wait until the next BLC starts, previously Admin has allowed people who signed up for the next BLC to jump in early and participate in a between rounds (interim) challenge. Renegades is having an interim challenge, as is one other group - you can choose which one fits you best.

    Great blog and exactly the way I would have described the Resolute Renegades team if I had thought about it.

    The sentences that resonate for me with this team include:

    * We have 3 team goals - Do some exercise, Eat according to your food plan, and do some Strength Training (so you lose more fat and less muscles).

    * We do not do a lot of social chatting, members are expected to spend more time exercising than they do online with the group (a couple short checkins a week are enough).

    And, in fact, the second one is the main reason I joined this team initially. I purposely checked out all the chat threads to see how many posts there were and this one had the least and I like that. I have far too many other things to do everyday and I hate being on the computer all the time.

    And, I'm so glad I did this because I love this team. I'm focused on weight loss instead of completing Bingo cards on weekends and other time-filled activities (Not that there's anything wrong with them; they're just not for me right now.) AND I'm figuring out my weight loss magic formula.
