Finally Checking In
Friday, March 29, 2019
It's been a hell of a month and I think I'll be glad to see it go. There have been way too many serious injuries and deaths in my life this month and I'm forcing myself to look foward to spring and new beginnings.
I have made so much great headway this year, which for me really started in September. That is when I decided that I wanted to make some changes in my life, and they are happening.
Believe it or not, it isn't all about the weight. I'm down 25 lbs., and that is a great thing. What is even better though is that I have been working to change how I feel about myself in general, and I've succeeded.
I like myself.
I'm happy with where my life is going.
I am right where I need to be at this moment in time.
I am the kind of person that I would want to have for a friend (one of my goals!)
I have taken control of my health in a big way. I had been putting off a lot of medical stuff. I scheduled most of it and got it taken care of. Hormones, bloodwork, teeth cleaning, eye check, and varicose veins. I'm scheduling this stuff when I can, right now April is the only window I have for procedures since I'm in school the rest of the time and can't miss class.
I am attending an art atelier, and just finished the drawing section. The first painting section starts the second week of May. I have two art shows already on the calendar, and I am working toward having the paintings I need for that completed on time.
It's busy times here in my life, as usual, and I'm so very happy to say I'm happy with where it is going!
