I used to feel that the part of the yoga session where we are asked to “set intentions” was a bit silly and too new age/hippie for me but I’ve come to see the power of focusing yourself. My brain often spends a lot of time buzzing every which way and I struggle to get a handle on what I need to do and how I need to focus.
On a daily basis, I also see the same struggle. I am going to set an intention each day to help me stay focused on what I want to accomplish. I must get back on track and this is a little step to get there.
Today’s intention will help me get through the staff development day where we always have a lot of food:
One small plate. Reasonable portions.
