Finally, the weather was warm enough to get back on my bike. Of course I have a nice pad of winter fat to keep me warm and slow, but it felt SO good to log some miles under the sun.
My goal for the first 2 weeks of spring is to get in 45 minutes of riding 4 times a week. I'll just push each day for greater distance in that time. I'll increase my time, intensity, and distance in increments after that.
In June I hope to be in decent form for a half century, then push on to be prepared for a century in September or October.
