Brother-in-law's mediation results

Sunday, March 24, 2019

Good morning everyone. First I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has 'held me up' and 'had my back' during this long, trying time. One week before Bobby's one year death anniversary we finally have some justice.

Per April, Bobby's niece....this is what she has to do

emoticon Leave the premises, which means she leaves behind the house and 10 acres.
emoticon Everything on that property, all vehicles, out buildings anything in those buildings, etc... is the families
emoticon She has to pay for Bobby's funeral (She kept telling them she'd pay for it and never did)
emoticon She has to buy a tombstone for Bobby and my sister Connie
emoticon She has to pay for Timmy (his nephew) and April's (his niece's) lawyer bills
emoticon She has to pay for not 1 but 2 lawyers she hired
emoticon As far as the retirement money, we found out there was $380,000 in the account. Out of that she has to pay for everything I described, plus Ohio and Alabama state taxes. She may end up with about $100,000 when everything is said and done.

Although I feel she doesn't deserve that money just to think she has to leave his property and everything she has fought so hard for the past year does my heart good. I'm so thankful for his Alabama family that fought so hard for him and his brothers.

One thing I'm very upset about though is my sister's property. That was all I wanted. I listed all of Connie's things (that I could remember).. She put a note beside it stating we had taken it with us back to Ohio when we came for the funeral. We took Bobby's dogs and a metal kennel for his English Mastiff. So.....there may not be anything left.

We also found out the fire that happened to her trailer the same day Bobby died is still under investigation. I'm praying for a sentence out of that too.

Again.......thank you everyone. I couldn't have done this without out all of you.

emoticon ~ Donna
